Creature Competition

And so as of yet, there is one unnamed creature in the story. A gargantuan behemoth 30 foot in length it dominates of air, land and sea. Its serpentine jaws devouring those that stand in the way of its destructive path, and...err...

*ponders*

Ok, thats not entirely true, but I cant give away the plot now can I? ;) Think you got a decent name? Just drop it in the comments and the winner will have it used in the story.

I sometimes come up with rants in my mind. In fact, sometimes I wonder if I'm at least partly schizophrenic as it can often become quite heated arguing with myself. It turns out I can be pretty stubborn. During one particular “session” I began thinking I ought to write all this down somewhere for future reference, some sort of site or word file. Photo's With the White Man: The Ferret Does Beijing

I should probably open with explaining that during the time of planning this trip - an idea I've been knocking around since the NYC trip when I really began to travel the world - it was thought that Alex was to be moving abroad. He still might be, in fact, and so as a send off we both decided to try and make this the most epic adventure of our lives. Epic mission accomplished. We were blessed by a Buddhist Monk and explored the vastness of the Great Wall just a day after Tom Cruise went to the same spot (crisis averted! We avoided that short-assed scientologist prick)! I taught Alex about self-reliance and survivability by abandoning him in a country where nobody spoke a single god-damn word of English, learned how to dance the Chinese National Dance, were repeatedly stopped for photos - an idea that quickly turned into "only if we can get one of you in return," often to much giggly enthusiasm - and jumped from a 233m building living to tell the tale. Water Water Everywhere, and Mostly Just Beer to Drink: The Ferret does Estonia/Finland

So I was halfway through writing this when I lost all my work. This means more of it is coming from memory than ever before, though I'm sure most of it is written down still as notes meaning most of it will still be around. It was only about a month ago that myself and my partner in crime took to the skies once again in our exploration of Eastern Europe. The quaint medieval town of Tallinn, Estonia, and the glorious capital of our tree loving neighbours in Helsinki, Finland. There are photo's to complement the trip, but for the most part I've strived to avoid repeating myself here. The flight outwards and already minor chaos ensued; Alex is becoming a master of packing things badly. The baggage allowance was 20kg, and so how much does Alex weigh in at? 19.9kg, to my measly 11.7kgs. I still don't know why he needed 30+ shirts for a 7 day trip, but there you have it.
